HARVEST NOTES
For us, making Pinot Noir (in all its different forms) is truly a labour of love. The hot summer days and cool nights make this vineyard prime Pinot growing country. There is no question that the 2022 growing season was wild one, but we can’t say the same about the harvest. Harvest for this Pinot Noir took place on October 12, thanks to an incredibly extended summer. We just love it when Mother Nature over-delivers!
WINEMAKER’S NOTES
This Pinot was crushed and destemmed quickly after picking. The juice was then left to sit on skins for just over 3 hours before being pressed. This year, we used a combination of ⅔ stainless steel and ⅓ French oak to ferment and age the wine giving this 100% Pinot Rosé and beautiful texture and finish.
TASTING NOTES
Strawberry on the nose and crisp notes of rhubarb on the palate make this Rosé the perfect pair for a fresh platter of oysters. The combination of the fruit-forward nose and textural palate and off-dry finish also make it a great date with Salmon or a loaded charcuterie board.
